Top Down Construction method basically means doing the sub subtructure and superstructure at the same time . normally they will dig a big hole at middle of the site. then, excavotor and other machine will take down into the hole for excavating. after the basement 1st level is completed. then, they can build up the column on the superstructure..until to rooftop....the excavating can divided into 2 part...1.excavating until the lowest level or excavate according to stages...normally 1 stages is 2 floor...this 1 is for fast-track construction...hong kong always use this method..dont know correct anot...if i write wrongly...pls revise here |

In factory construction, sometime we erect the column and roof structure first and construct the floor after the roof structure is closed. Is that consider top-down construction??
在建工厂，这个contruction method是很普遍的。因为很多工厂要求flat floor construction。 |

thought u re indian..then your chinese is pretty ok.
之前大学时有读过，高楼的slab在地面cast 然后慢慢一层一层lift上去topmost level 然后floor by floor coming down，但这样的本地高楼建筑方法我真的是没见过  |

Top down。。。我所见过的
（１） Westin Hotel， Ireka
（２） Park ７ Condo， by SDred
工地空间有限的话，或如你建的project需要partial handover（possession）之类的fast－track project的可用top down。。。不然的话，还蛮麻烦的。。。 |
