RELATED PARTY TRANSACTIONS | Description | PROVISION OF AUXILIARY POLICE SERVICES FOR MENARA SHELL AND PLATINUM SENTRAL BY MRCB SENTRAL SECURITIES SDN BHD | The Board of Directors of Sentral REIT Management Sdn Bhd (“SRM” or “the Company”), the manager of SENTRAL REIT (“SENTRAL”) wishes to announce that SRM had vide the Letter of Appointment dated 18 September 2024 (“LOA”), appointed MRCB Sentral Securities Sdn Bhd (“MSSSB”) for the provision of auxiliary police services at Menara Shell and Platinum Sentral for a period of two (2) years commencing from 1 September 2024 to 1 September 2026 at the monthly fees of RM43,560.00 and RM36,600.00 respectively with an option of renewal for a further period of one (1) year (“the Transaction”).
MSSSB is a wholly owned subsidiary of Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (“MRCB”). MRCB is a major unitholder of SENTRAL, having a direct unitholding of 27.94% and also holding a 80% equity interest in SRM.
The Transaction is deemed a related party transaction under paragraph 10.08 of the Main Market Listing Requirements (“Listing Requirements”) of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”).
