Polymer之Plastics和Resins的学问。

Resins可以来自天然natural origin（从植物）或人工提炼 synthetic。
没错的话，resins应该是用来做plastics的主要原料。Resins在化学工业的用途可多，如在塑胶工业，漆工业，墨工业，香精化学工业和胶质工业等等。
有很多种resins,如 Epoxy resins, Polyurethane resins, Polyethylene resins, Phenol Formaldehyde resins, Melamine Formaldehyde resins, Silicone resins, Alkyd resins, Polyester resins...

但是，为何叫resins呢？
Resins是不是比较low molecular的，通常都是liquid form的是吗？
是不是resins不是跟plastics一样的？
这里有谁会帮我更详细的的解释有关Polymer和Plastics跟Resins含义，树脂跟塑胶有什么分别？
到底什么时候才可用resins这名称？

resins = a solid or semisolid natural organic substance secreted in the sap of some plants and trees that has a transparent or translucent quality and a yellow or brown color; or a synthetic polymeric compound physically resembling natural resin, for example, polyvinyl, polystyrene, or epoxy, used in the petrochemical and plastics industries  

It is used in varnishes, paints, adhesives, inks, and medicines.

有资料更提出，resins 与 polymer 是可以互相代替来用或则并用..
如，epoxy resin 也使指 plastic epoxy
或，也可以说 epoxy is a kind of plastic resins
