马航差劲的经济舱餐饮(马航即将实行新措施,#18楼)

Having recently flown RTW in Golden Club I experienced MH's finest. Now I have just returned from a quick trip in Y class MEL-KUL-MEL, which I haven't flown since 2004.
To say I was dissapointed is an understatement, cut backs have gone way beyond what I would call a resonable level. Firstly there was no proper pre-meal drinks service, crew came around with trays of orange juice and water. Then a tray of beer.
The main meal was ok for taste, but the portion is more suitable for a child. Small entree has gone as well, for dessert you are given a Kit-Kat? Of course I was dreaming we would get an ice-cream like in the "old days". Second meal before landing was a joke, I honestly couldn't beleive what I was seeing, outbound we got a cold spinach pie, and inbound a dinner roll with some cheese squirted in and a single leaf of lettuce.
I was starving both flights, I ended buying some food at the airport to take on board for the journey home because what they serve is simply not enough.
Can MH not realise that they are not competitive with this crap? Look at EK and SQ catering in Y, how can they manage to provide a decent meal in Economy? Let alone MH's dated product, seat pitch and friendly service will not carry the airline along. They seriously need to revamp their Y product and catering, any other peoples thoughts?

新加坡电视台有一次去拍新航的cathering centre(中央厨房)
从进货到出货都是很严厉地把关

进货：
蔬果要达到标准重量，体积，颜色，甜度，新鲜度也是
如果超过20%的货物达不到标准就马上退货

处理：
每一样的大小都要切到一样大小，蛋糕/面包有一点点烧焦整批就会被销毁再从新弄过。。。。

出货：
为避免被下毒，出货前会被抽样检验
没问题了就会封箱，并有员工跟随货柜载送到机场，全程都由他们的员工看管，一直到送进机舱

另外还有世界唯一的一架“机舱压力/温度模拟机”
他们会在一个房间里模拟机舱的压力和温度以进行试验，研究各种食物在不同情况下会有什么不同，确保食物的美味

我没有乘搭过马航，不过看照片觉得不差。

个人口味不同，很难判断。

有时候也要看路线，好像长途，短途，地点。

空中廚房的要求都很嚴格,每一份食物都必須在做好後8小時內用,所以如果班機延誤的話他們是要重新準備的,馬航的飛機餐的確開始縮小了

是这样的啦，因为经费的问题嘛，多多体谅！

除了国内航班我是坐马航，国外的我都坐新航！我最不喜欢就是United Airline，服务很差

除此之外，还要看他们的食物在那个国家准备。有时候在外国上的catering比较难确保品质，因为是3rd party的。有错请更正。

不要说马航，很多航空公司都又以前的长方形盘子缩减到现在四方形盘子的分量。长方形盘子的例子就好像emirates的那张图，四方形就好像新航和马航的。油价起了又起，航空公司cut cost,没有办法的事情。

as MH cabin crew...

the rumour is true..

only for economy class but not Golden Business Class..

another rumor is.. MH will reduce one crew in economy for B737..
