美里造船业的简介+砂劳越船厂透视

早期砂劳越的造船业一般上都是以诗巫为龙头老大,但是近年来美里的财团诸如升阳(Shin Yang) 和 Sealink 的崛起已使到美里的造船技术不下于诗巫,也从而使到砂劳越的造船业达到另一个高峰。中国固然人工便宜,不过品质却是很大的问题。由于砂劳越在人工和品质上的平衡,造成新加坡买家舍中国而转向砂劳越订购船只。

Sealink Vanessa 3 enters service

Yard News - January 21, 2005

Sealink Shipyard in Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia, has delivered the crew boat Sealink Vanessa 3.

The 48 x 11m vessel has a moulded depth of 3.5m and a 2.8m maximum draft. This heavily built utility/supply vessel is certified ABS A1+AMS for unrestricted services and is registered in Labuan, Malaysia.

The vessel has 295 cubic meters of fuel tanks and 313 cubic meters of potable water. Transfer rates with a 50m head are 75 cubic metres per hour for both water and fuel.

Propulsion is provided by a pair of pair of Cummins KTA38-M2 main engines each producing 1,200bbhp at 1800rpm and turning into Reintjes gears. Electrical power is provided by two Cummins-powered 150 kW generator sets. Vanessa 3 is fitted with a Schotteltunnel-type bow thruster.

The MARPOL compliant vessel has berths for 22 in a fully air conditioned accommodations and 28 days endurance.

Recently delivered from the Sealink Shipyard in Miri, Sarawak, East Malaysia, the Sealink Vanessa 3, is in service the builder’s charter fleet. The 48x11-meter vessel and a molded depth of 3.5 meters and a 2.8-meter maximum draft. This heavily built utility/supply vessel is certified ABS A1+AMS for unrestricted services and is registered in Labuan, Malaysia. The 1025.55 ton displacement vessel has 295 cubic meters of fuel tanks and 313 cubic meters of potable water. Transfer rates with a 50-meter head are 75 cum per hour for both water and fuel. The cargo deck is 208 cubic meters.



Propulsion power is provided by a pair of pair of Cummins KTA38-M2 main engines each producing 1200 BHP at 1800 RPM and turning into Reintjes gears. Electrical power is provided by two Cummins-powered 150 kW generator sets. The Vanessa 3 is fitted with a Schottel tunnel-type bow thruster.

The MARPOL compliant vessel has berths for 22 in a fully air conditioned accommodations. It has a 28-day endurance.

升阳的造船事业

The shipping arm of Shin Yang comprises of the domestic sector under the name of Shin Yang Shipping and the International sector - Shinline Sdn. Bhd. These companies were set up with the view of transporting raw material and the export of the company's products such as sawn timber, plywood, logs, gravel, etc..

Shin Yang Shipping (Domestic Sector)

This company was set up in the early 1970's with a few wooden tugs and steel barges and since then has grown to a fleet of more than 200 vessels. Being domestic in nature, this company concentrates in the transportation of logs from its timber camps and raw products from the interior to the factories or ships at anchor awaiting to be shipped out. Sawn timbers and plywood, which are the finished products, are transported by its fleet of cargo vessels that operate between East and West Sarawak. With its fleet of tugs and barges Shin Yang Shipping is actively participating in sand extraction and reclamation of land.

The International Shipping sector of the company is operated by this company which was set up in August 1994 but commenced operation in January 1995 with its first vessel the M.V. "MELINAU SATU" carrying a shipment of logs to Japan. Three log carriers and a tween decker general cargo joined the fleet by mid-1995 and another tween deck general cargo vessel in November, 1995. The gross tonnage of the fleet is 27, 660, has deadweight of 34, 765 is operating monthly sailing services between South East Asia, China, Korea and Japan. Four of the vessels are concentrating on export of logs whereas the other two are on plywood and sawn timber. On their return voyage, the vessels are chartered out. The return cargo is normally general bulk or bulk cargo such as fertilizer, pig iron, steel coils, ingots and rice.

Sarawak Slipways Sdn Bhd located at Miri is one of the longest established shipbuilding and ship repairing yards in Malaysia. The company was founded in 1967 and delivered probably the first steel ship constructed in Malaysia in the same year.

Since 1967, Sarawak Slipways has always been one of the busiest shipbuilding and repairing yards in Malaysia. Tuong Aik

Tuong Aik (Sarawak) Sdn BHD is established in the State of Sarawak, Eastern Malaysia – Sibu since 1977.  Initially, the company started its business lines in the supply of marine coatings and shipping services.  In the late 80’s, the company shifted its interest to new shipbuilding and ship repairing.



tuong aik has its beginning in 2002, when Mr. Lau Nai Hoh, managing director, started Tuong Aik SHIPYARD Sdn BHD in the state of Sarawak too, specialized in new shipbuilding and ship repairing.

TUONG AIK SHIPYARD SDN. BHD. acquired its shipyard with ship repair facilities and diversified into the shipbuilding business in August 2003. By the end of 2004, it had own a shipyard of 12.3 acre land area.

Up to date, Tuong Aik Shipyard employs some 300 people and handles an annual trade turnover of not less than RM$52 million.  It has business clients worldwide, especially in Singapore, Indonesia and United Arab Emirates.

诗巫的造船业本来可以发扬光大,只可惜这里的人没当一回事。业者的努力没人察觉,就这样渐渐没落,没人提问。

如果我没有漏看,其实马来西亚的造船业一般上是砂劳越主导,详细一点是诗巫和美里。西马上市公司如MISC大都倾向向外国(如韩国的Samsung)订船,我这里就以网上的资料证明我的说法。

我现在的公司是船厂的 Electrical contractor。这些船厂的船大都要符合某些标准,英文称为“class”。

现在我只画过ABS,BV,NKK class 的船,我认为ABS的要求算是相当宽容的,最专业(也是最严格)的要属日本海事协会的NKK(http://www.classnk.or.jp/hp/top.asp)。不过你画过NKK的electrical drawing 真的会学到很多东西。我们在ABS可以过关的画法在NKK完全过不了关,几乎每一面都被盖上"NKK"的印,然后旁边就是一大堆批评的comment。无怪乎日本货是品质的保证,日本人做东西真的很专业和细心。他们真的对他们产品研究地很透彻。

从2001-2005年,马来西亚有造船的公司都是来自美里(南昌、升阳、建全、Sealink....)和一间来自诗巫(Fong Syn)(因为美里油田公司多,所以造的船需要较高的标准),其中美里的Highline也将船出口给Saudi Arabia。我听说Highline已造好的船等过年后就会开往Dubai.

再看看NKK 的 Register of Ships ,也是看到熟悉的woodman,shinline...

虽然这些数据不能当成全部,不过从中也可以窥见砂劳越的造船技术是相当先进的。美里的船务公司现在也向中国订造一些低成本的barges,因为在砂劳越这种船的profit margin很低,还倒不如外包给中国做。

盼人民享世界级生活水准 陈康南拟美里新宏愿

  (本报美里28日讯)美里已达致“2005年旅游城宏愿”,拿督巴丁宜丹斯里陈康南医生下一个宏愿是美里朝向教育研发中心;加强周边的发展;鼓励造船业等工业发展,使到美里人民能享有世界级的生活水准。

砂州第一副首长兼农业现代化暨工业发展部长拿督巴丁宜丹斯里陈康南医生今日接受《联合日报》专访时指出:美里能落实2005年升格为城市宏愿,是全体人民和政府合作的成果。

他相信,美里在大家的努力合作之下,将会达到下一个新的目标。

迈向新发展阶段

他说:“美里升格为城市并不意味发展划下休止符,20年前已拟定的美里发展城市宏愿计划,是确保美里迈向城市地位,各种基本建设必须先具备城市应有的条件。有了这些,就会提高美里在国际的形象和地位。

他续说:尽管美里城市宏愿已经落实了,接着宏愿计划将是迈入另一个层次的发展阶段。

提到提升美里旅游业方面,他说,旅游相关行业,包括手工艺品和酒店等服务业,包括培训服务业将随着崛起。

他矢言努力把美里发展成为区域教育和研发中心,目前拥有国际水准的砂州科廷理工大学,将设立一个生物工艺园,连同目前的8所学院,以及亚太蚬标油田技术专才中枢,美里有条件在教育领域发展。

另外,他指出:美里拥有多个国家公园,蕴藏丰富的动植物生态,和许多先进国家的自然生态环境早已荡然无存的情况比较,在美里从事研发生物工艺,包括研发生态、研究生物拥有更好的条件,因此加以研发新科技产品,甚至治疗各种顽疾的药物,将是未来发展的趋势。


造船业打响名堂

提到造船业时,他说,美里业者造船技术十分高超,已经获得中东和亚太国家的认同,这些国家对大型货轮、巡逻舰艇、拖船等订单不断,美里造船业成功在世界上打出了响亮的名堂。他认为,美里造船工业,已享有全州首屈一指的地位与水准。


“除此之外,美里四周的县区如苏必士、峇南、林梦、老越、民都鲁等区的国阵人民代议士,一直以来都保持密切联系。美里也将成为这些乡县地区的农产品促销、生产以及旅游的核心地区。”

HUBline航线遍布东南亚 深圳诗巫船运明开航

HUBline船务有限公司董事经理林利光指出,深圳与诗巫直航船运服务,将于本月11日正式开航。

他说,HUBline航运将于本月11日展开由深圳至诗巫的新航线服务,因此有关货运不需经过做为转运的香港,可直接两地通航。

林利光表示,HUBline船务有限公司是一间砂罗越人所创办的公司,于1993年开始营运,当时是在新加坡,专营新加坡与西马之间的货运,迄今为止,该公司的船务货运航线遍布东南亚各国,在东南亚的50个港口均有提供服务,并在国外设立了70个办事处。

陈康南:政府重视造船工业 船厂已展开素质管理

  (本报美里3日讯)砂拉越造船厂是美里第一间造船厂荣获ISO90001:2000(国际标准组织)品管证书,希望可此提高美里造船业者就品质管理的意识提高,生产更有素质产品和更有效率的服务,保持个别的竞争力。

砂第一副首长兼农业现代化暨工业发展部长拿督巴丁宜丹斯里陈康南医生今日监证国际标准组织颁发ISO9001:2000予砂拉越造船厂会上致词时称:“ 造船工业已逐渐成为北砂区,尤其是美里在于去年升格为城市后的对经济成长,扮演着的吃重角色和地位”。

他说,目前在瓜拉峇南工业区共有6间造船厂。接下来将有另外3间造船厂陆续在该工业区设建。他表示高兴见到造船厂工业迅速成长。他称,州政府也将竭其所能,继续支持有关的工业。

“马来西亚政府对造船工业一直都给予关注和重视,以期该工业生产有素质产品和提供素质服务”。

铺下巩固基础

他亦深信砂拉越造船厂已展开的素质管理的投资,已为其公司未来成长和发展,铺下了巩固的基础和更光明的前途。

“我记得在40年之前,砂拉越造船厂是建在靠近目前的美佳酒店,即友成路的地带。当时,建好的船只都是利用拖格罗厘,将船只拖入蚬标油田的码头后,利用吊机将船只放入水中,整个涉及的过非常冗长和缺乏效率”。

他表示,在60年代时期,这些造船厂都已移至珠巴区,即接近美里河地带。较后时,这些造船厂再度被重新迁至卑尔骚工业区之较广阔的地区。

“到了70年代,马来西亚政府为了减少外汇基金流失,以及造船厂日愈扮演重要地位和发展,政府当时亦鼓励设建造船厂。所以,在此发展趋势下,加上砂海外油田和天然煤气工业就大量船只的需求情况下,俾使砂州造船厂将他们拥有的巨大发展潜能,从此展现无遗。陈康南医生称,州政府亦协助有关工业在美里进行扩建计划,因此,将他们迁往拥有更大的面积的地区,和核准建造更多的船厂。目前瓜拉峇南工业园已发展成为了造船工业的集中地,也成了本区的的造船中心。
