安哥之前,他以<Ballad of a Thin Man>谢幕。一直以来,许多人都好奇歌词中所说的Mr. Jones究竟是谁? 多年来他的回答不一致,但看官们觉得最大的可能指的是“记者”,尤其是那种自以为是、喋喋不休、穷追猛打的记者,才有了歌词里无厘头的对白。歌词写到最后,鲍迪伦形容Mr.Jones像只骆驼般走进来,把眼珠子放进口袋,把鼻子搁在地上。说的是他未曾用心观察就主观批判的态度,鲍迪伦厌烦并嘲讽:“因为这里有些事情发生了,但你不懂是什么,对吗Mr.Jones?”

当下唱这首歌再贴切不过了,所有争议鲍迪伦有没有资格获奖、歌词能不能归纳为诗的一种形式、质疑诺贝尔委员会的选择的人们,他们都可能是Mr.Jones,那个大剌剌地走进屋里,手里执笔,看到个赤裸裸的人就问:“这人是谁?”(You walk into the room/ with your pencil in your hand/ You see somebody naked/ and you say, "Who is that man?")并迫不及待下定论,只不过为了显示自己懂得。
一无所有就无惧失去,隐于世人就无隐私可忌 (When you got nothing/ you got nothing to loose/ You’re invisible now/ you got no secrets to conceal)。与歌迷们重复唱诵摇滚的mantra:“How does it feel? How does it feel?”,鲍迪伦像个滚石般,在生命长征路上面对无聊的世界,除了厌恶,也就剩下柴米油盐的事了。
让他们好奇,让他们笑吧,让他们皱眉,你知道我会爱你到老。难道你就忘了,我是你的丑旦?那何必现在尝试改变我呢?(So, let people wonder, let 'em laugh, let 'em frown/ You know I'll love you till the moon's upside down/ Don't you remember I was always your clown?/Why try to change me now? )
年轻时的鲍迪伦与民歌手琼拜斯(Jone Baez)都是反战的符号。
鲍迪伦是一个看懂及看透世事的小子,从前是,如今还是。年过七旬,即便看似妥协,其实他未曾世故过。每年的诺贝尔奖心仪的人物,隐约间都向世界传递一个当下的信息,虽然大部分时候,它都是透过西方的视角,带着西方的偏见。今年鲍迪伦脱颖而出,叫大众惊愕得措手不及,或许今年传递的信息,就是这个时代的无聊及荒诞,需要鲍迪伦唤醒世界领袖,再次抛出的问题:“Is your money that good/ Will it buy you forgiveness/ When your death take its toll/ All the money you made/ Will never buy back your soul”。
鲍迪伦或许不算最了不起的文学家,但是他绝对是这个时代最需要的滚石。当它滚到你脚边时,记得望它一眼,然后想想你年轻时多热爱这个世界,多么希望它变好。因为鲍迪伦,那一腔热血shall be released。
