The father sees a clean room and a made bed. Seconds later he finds a letter and is devastated.

A father walks by his son’s room. He notices, with his parental instincts, that something must be wrong. The room is spotless and even the bed is made.
Several alarms go off at once, especially when he sees a letter on the pillow with the word “Dad” written on the envelope. Expecting the worst, he opens the letter and begins reading it with trembling hands.




"Dear Dad,

It is with great regret and sorrow that I am writing you. I had to elope with my new girlfriend because I wanted to avoid a scene with mom and you. I've been finding real passion with Stacy, and she is so nice, but I knew you would not approve because of her piercings, tattoos, tight motorcycle clothes, and the fact she's much older than I am.

But it's not only the passion Dad; she's pregnant.  

Stacy said that we will be very happy. She owns a trailer in the woods, and has a stack of firewood for the whole winter. We share a dream of having many more children.

Stacy has opened my eyes to the fact that marijuana doesn't really hurt anyone. We'll be growing it for ourselves and trading it with other people in the commune -- for all the cocaine and ecstasy we want.

In the meantime, we'll pray that science will find a cure for AIDS so that Stacy can get better. She sure deserves it!

Don’t worry, Dad. I’m 15, and I know how to take care of myself. Someday, I’m sure we’ll be back to visit, so you can get to know your many grandchildren.

This son is clearly a veteran in breaking bad news to his parents.

父親看到乾淨的房間和床製成。幾秒鐘後，他發現了一封信，更是遭受重創。

一位父親，他的兒子的房間走。他注意到，與他的父母的本能，說一定是錯的。房間一塵不染，甚至在床上而成。
幾個報警立刻熄滅，尤其是當他看到與寫在信封上的字“爸爸”枕頭的信。預期最壞的打算，他打開信，並開始用顫抖的雙手閱讀它。




“親愛的爸爸，

這是非常遺憾和悲傷，我寫信給你。我與我的新女友私奔，因為我想避免與媽媽和你的場景。我一直在尋找真正的激情與斯泰西，她是那麼漂亮，但我知道你不會因為她的耳洞，紋身，緊身摩托服的批准，而事實上她這人比我大。

但它不僅是激情的爸爸;她懷孕了。

斯泰西說，我們會很高興。她擁有在樹林裡拖，並有木柴整個冬天堆棧。我們同許多有更多孩子的夢想。

女生版。。。

父亲从女儿房门前经过，发现女儿的房间异常整齐。这太奇怪了。         

        女儿15岁，追求时尚却不爱整洁，房间一向凌乱不堪。今天。不但被子叠得有棱有角，其他物品也摆得整整齐齐。擦得一尘不染。         

        他看到枕头上放著一封信。他拿起信，信的开头写著“亲爱的爸爸”几个字。         

        父亲心中升起一种不祥的预感，颤抖著拆开信：        　　

        亲爱的爸爸：

        写这封信时，我心中充满内疚和不安，但是，我还是得告诉你，我要离家出走了。         

        为了避免你和母亲的阻挠，我和男友兰迪必须这样私奔。我们已经是一体的了，谁也不能把我们分开。         

        我相信。你们会喜欢兰迪的。他身上文了各种图案，他服装另类，发型独一无二。我和他之间难舍难分，而且，我已有了身孕。         

        兰迪说，他要这个孩子，以后我们三个人幸福地生活。我想，我们肯定会幸福的，虽然兰迪比我稍大一点(男人42岁，在现今社会不算太老，是吧?)，也没有什么钱，但这些不应该成为我们感情的障碍，你们说对吗?         

        我们打算到深山老林里去，搭一间小木屋。我们已经准备好了过冬的木柴。当然，兰迪还有好几位女友，但是，我知道他会以他的方式对我忠诚的。         

        兰迪认为，大麻不会对任何人造成伤害，我将和他一起种植大麻。         

        同时，我们还要向上帝祈祷，希望科学家早日找到治愈艾滋病的方法，这样，兰迪就可以康复了。他应该能得到这样的好报。

        父亲差点昏厥。这时，他看到另外几个字，“未完，见反面”。        　　

        他慌忙把信翻过来：         

        “爸爸，你刚才读到的都不是真的。真实情况是，我在隔壁邻居家，并想让你知道，生活中有好多事情比我的成绩单要糟糕得多。我的成绩单放在书桌中间的抽屉里，请你签上名，然后给我打电话，让我确信我可以平安回家了。”
