Universal Drive Shaft C.V Boot- Suitable for most cars.
- CV (or Constant Velocity) boots allow a drive shaft to transmit power through a variable angle, at constant rotational speed, without an appreciable increase in friction or play.
- If this CV Boot is torn, the grease inside quickly slings out due to centrifugal force as the axle rotates and as a result the shaft may get contaminated with sand, dirt, water, rocks etc. which leads to wearing of the shaft.
- Hence it is essential to replace the torn CV Boot as soon as the problem appears to prevent expense of replacing entire shaft.
