win7 network

windows7 network 里的workgroup看不到名字，可是打IP却可以访问，是什么问题？求高手指教。。
举个列子。。公司里有8架电脑，平常network可以看到彼此的名字，只是突然有5架看不到了，需要手动打ip或者电脑名字才可以访问。。是什么问题？

start--->control panel--->network & sharing center--->change advance sharing settings--->home or work--->turn on network discovery 。。。。。。。。。。。（public ---> 也 turn on network discovery）

问题补充，sharing center 全部turn on了除了password.... 还是不行呢

是 change advance sharing settings 不是 sharing center 。。。
还有，你有没有 click save changes ?

What is network discovery?

Network discovery is a network setting that affects whether your computer can find other computers and devices on the network and whether other computers on the network can find your computer.

There are three network discovery states:

On

This state allows your computer to see other network computers and devices and allows people on other network computers to see your computer. This makes it easier to share files and printers.

Off

This state prevents your computer from seeing other network computers and devices and prevents people on other network computers from seeing your computer.

Custom

This is a mixed state in which some settings related to network discovery are enabled, but not all of them. For example, network discovery could be turned on, but you or your system administrator might have changed firewall settings that affect network discovery.

Network discovery requires that the DNS Client, Function Discovery Resource Publication, SSDP Discovery, and UPnP Device Host services are started, that network discovery is allowed to communicate through Windows Firewall, and that other firewalls are not interfering with network discovery. If some but not all of these are true, the network discovery state will be shown as Custom.

To turn on network discovery
Click to open Advanced sharing settings.

Click the chevron 〉Picture of the chevron icon to expand the current network profile.

Click Turn on network discovery, and then click Save changes. Administrator permission required If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Network locations
When you connect to a network, you must choose a network location. There are four network locations: Home, Work, Public, and Domain. Based on the network location you choose, Windows assigns a network discovery state to the network and opens the appropriate Windows Firewall ports for that state

不是很懂你要什么？

去 LAN Properties --> TCP/IP Properties --> Advanced --> WINS
尝试开启， LMHOSTS 和 NetBIOS Settings (Default)。

你的ip 是 auto/dynamic 的吗？

当你是 auto,
如果router/modem 给 ip,
酱你要把 windows dns ip set 成 router的 lan ip 一样。
过后去cmd, 把原本的dns给清除掉。
ipconfig /flushdns

如果你有dns server,就没这个问题。
用network discovery不是每次都那么好彩。
试试看。

個人建議，
如果有 dns / ad，或者最少使用 xp 就可以不必使用 wins.
當然也要在 dhcp 裡面設定 local dns ip.

可以放auto, 在dhcp/ 给ip的router set dns 的ip address（在router 的dhcp page set）.
因为dhcp 除了给ip， 也会给dns 的。

我想请问下 sharing printer 你熟的吗？

列如我的win7 share了一架printer在network
我的win8 connect 去 win7 ，可是我不要用win7 sharing的driver，要用回win8自己的driver

所以我在 Devices and Printers 里 add local printer ， 打上win7里sharing printer的地址   列如：\\win7-pc\printer的名字

当我打完port name 按 ok的时候却出现 ”Access Denied"

你有遇过这样的问题吗？这个方法我用着来是没问题的，只是偶尔有些电脑会有这样问题而已。。。

如果是我，我会在 win7, install x86 + x64 的 printer driver 。
然后在win8 的 windows explorer 打上 \\win7-pc\printer,
右键, 选connect。
当它connect的时候，win7 会把 driver upload 去 win8。
"Security" tab 有检查吗？



请问你的printer 是链接win7的usb/parallel port 的吗？还是 IP printer?

我win7的printer是usb connect 然后sharing的。。（add IP printer的方法是用 tcp/ip port 所以没关系到）

重点不是x64或x86,
而是driver不match，因为win8 update了windows，所以变成如果用win7 的driver 会有问题（print 的时候会死机）。。。


有没有什么办法可以用win8 自带的driver ，然后connect去 win 7 的printer呢？

我猜你应该懂x86 , x64 的分别。酱你可以试试看以下的帮到你吗，
"access denied" 应该是因为不同的workgroup或用户没设定密码所引起的

然后用win8的driver print 过去win7的share printer，应该不能。
如果要，你要买print server了(hardware)。

或者

（用win7 的driver 会有问题（print 的时候会死机）。。。）
试upgrade win7 的 drivers，不要用windows自带的。

其实我只是帮朋友的公司弄而已，就是不能改主机win7 的driver，可以upgrade的话早就up了
万一改了他的其他同事的电脑又要重新connect过。。到时麻烦的是他而已。。然后他也不用win8 改用回win7 了

至于access denied这个问题 我会再慢慢研究的，先谢谢你的帮忙~
