求助~拿不回deposit

hi hi大家好 上个月到黄金海岸旅行 租了四天的车 给了两百块澳币的deposit 还车时那个人说一个星期内会把deposit退回去我的信用卡  可是到现在已经三个星期了 还拿不到钱 email没人回复 打电话去又没人接听  想请问各位有没有人遇到过这种情形 有什么办法可以拿回这两百块吗 感激不尽

看起来有点可疑，既然他们有你的信用卡资料，为什么还要收抵押金而且还是现金？如果是收现金为什么还车的时候不直接退回给你？

哦 不好意思 是我没讲清楚 我四天的租车费是 $225加上deposit$200
所以他一共从我的信用卡扣了$425 我还傻傻的以为他只收了$225
最生气的是从开始来往email到拿车他都没有提起deposit
是到了还车时他才说会退回deposit 当下我们才知道原来他有收了$200的deposit
可是当时我们已经赶着去搭飞机 没有时间在讲什么 又看他是个慈祥的老人家
应该不会骗我两百块吧 就只好相信他会退回钱 结果........

Another important point to note, if you are giving your card details for the rental fee, the deposit amount would be charged together as well! The refund itself took almost 2 weeks after the return of the car and I lost 4% of my deposit due to exchange rate differences + hefty credit card profitering from the exchange rate conversions. They do not hold the deposit amount unlike hotels. Therefore, I would advise you to try to negotiate to place a cash deposit instead.

for me , it took about 2 months to get back my deposit. But I have keep writing emails to ask them for the status.

Was pleased with their service whilst I had the car, but have had a horrendous time trying to get the deposit paid back. As another customer has stated - always check your bank statements to make sure they have returned the deposit. The tale of another hirer waiting over two months and somebody who has left Oz still waiting months later rings true.
We are three months down the line, various phone calls, emails - keep getting fobbed off - call back in a few days and we'll go through the transactions etc....
Three months later, still no deposit returned. Have been told to call back again (yet again) in a few days. Gone beyond a joke now and feeling very angry with this company.
My advice would be to use a national company like Avis or similar. It may be slightly more expensive up front but if you don't get your deposit back then it's a false economy.

I rented a Camry from this company early february 2013 and was pretty pleased with the condition of the car and the items thrown in (GPS, baby/booster seats, stroller) - however, up until now I have been chasing for my deposit paid on the credit card and DID NOT GET A SINGLE REPLY! Compared to their prompt replies BEFORE you hired the car, it is to be a clear indication that they are trying to delay and hold onto our monies, which is disappointing. I would recommend them IF you are going to pay cash for your deposit (since most pple have posted that they got their money back when they returned the vehicle). You have been warned.

在GC airport,大租车公司会在airport有counter.  有些小租车公司因为在airport沒有counter, 所以会带客人去在airport外面拿车.  那些租金比较便宜的,  网友们要注意, 一分钱一分货. 有时, 可能有hidden cost, 保费索赔问题.

楼主试试去找澳洲的消费者协会，旅游局投诉。

这里是个自的州政府管的。楼主要投诉应该去QLD的fair trade。

你租车时，应该有签文件吧？你去看deposit的T & C

刚刚看了我租车的 T&C 有注明没有征收DEPOSIT for reservation， 但是没有说明取车的时候需不需要付deposit.

你去看它的car rental webiste FAQ，通常会hold住你的credit card amount for deposit。

昨晚我最后一次email过去说 如果他还是不reply的话 我就要报警了  （其实我也只是随便讲讲）
结果今早他们终于reply了  给了个理由说因为是overseas bank的关系所以需要28天才能退回$200
而且看了他的email感觉他好像在怪我没有看Terms and Conditions  （不过我也真的没去读T&C）
可是那天还车时他明明说一个星期就会退回钱的  现在又说要28天  希望最后能够拿回钱

新年的时候我去GC，在机场办退税的时候也是说2个星期，我也是等了一个半月。

你是说买了东西办退税吗? 我也是有在机场办退税 可是机场的退税一个星期就退到信用卡了
