SECTION A: WARNING ON STRONG WINDS AND ROUGH SEAS (FIRST CATEGORY)-Upgraded from Advisory issued on 8th September 2012, 11.19am.
Strong Southwesterly winds of 40-50 kmph with waves up to 3.5 meters are expected to occur over the waters off Sabah (West Coast & Kudat), Condore, Reef North, Layang-Layang, Palawan and Sulu beginning from Monday, 11th September 2012 until Sunday, 16th September 2012.
This condition of strong winds and rough seas are dangerous to small crafts, recreational sea activities and sea sports.
SECTION B: WIDESPREAD THUNDERSTORM WARNING
Thunderstorm activities occuring over waters of Sarawak(Kuching, Mukah, Bintulu and Miri), Sabah(West Coast) and Reef South are expected to continue until early night, Sunday, 9th September 2012.
This condition may cause strong winds up to 50 kmph and rough seas with wave height up to 3.5 metres and dangerous to small boats.
