428 in Kuching will be peaceful and orderly, but a doctor friend insists that I post this up, just in case medical assistance/ attention may be required. We don’t know, the heat of a hot afternoon may give some headache, dehydration or whatever. Note below courtesy of this doctor friend:

There are quite a lot of senior GP clinics around the area as follows.
They are all within "running distance" of ground zero, and would probably be the ideal place to send any, if any, injured to.
there are many clinics along Jalan Kulas n Satok - n at Jalan Song Thian Cheok which I have not included - but they are all well signposted.
Most of the clinics are run by senior doctors who should be able to manage most emergencies or asthma.
I will email/fax them info on management of tear gas injuries.
For patients who collapse? heart attack - the best place to go is still the GH in an ambulance / car n not wait for the doctor .
