11th November 2011 - Friday (Meet & Greet)

12th November 2011 – Saturday (Before Dives)

1) Camera (and housing) Setup and settings, preparations and precautions

2) An introduction to aperture and shutter speed.
Understanding what Auto functions do and how to take advantage of manual settings if available

3) Buoyancy, Camera Handling and awkward positions

4) An introduction to the three main types of underwater photography disciplines (Macro, Wide angle and CFWA- Close focus wide angle)

5) Composition
-        Basic Composition Rules
-        Closer, closer..... no, no, CLOSER!
-        Getting Low

6) General advice on mindset and execution
-        Think before you shoot
-        Multiple shots

Post dive reviews (Collection of day's photos- Top two per person)

Q&A - based on photos taken as viewed on laptops.
(May be moved to first thing in the morning of Day 2 if time does not permit)


13th NOV 2011, Day 2 (Before Dives)

1) Lighting

2) The importance of strobes (Painting with light)

3) Backscatter & Backgrounds, how to make the most of a messy situation

4) Basic post processing. (Done with previous day's shots)
-        Free tools
-        How to use them and best way to prepare photos for the Internet

5) The Underwater Photographer's Mindset

是的，11-13 是workshop，这个配套是包括14号潜水所以itinerary到15号。
