请问要怎样做swot analysis?应该从何开始？去搜索那间公司的网站，也不会有太多资料。。我上网搜索到的都是教人怎样分析自己的生意，那别家的呢？请知道的网友教下我。。谢谢。

SW多多少少可以从公司的财报，背景，历史找到
OT就要search下现今有什么 policy, environment会影响到公司的。

我没有做过这些。但是我觉得可以先做SW，先了解公司的内部。再做OT，可以用PEST。

strength - 公司已拥有的长处
weaknesses - 公司正面临的短处
opportunity - 公司还未拥有，但有机会利用来发展的机会
threat - 还未出现但有潜质危害公司的因素

会做swot应该就是business student吧？读business就是要学会怎么去分析~
建议你先去了解目标公司的运作，和它竞争对手的公司的长短处后再自己加以分析~
不用觉得难，lecturer无非是想看你分析到怎样罢了

    不是business student,是hospitality student..我想找一间酒店的financing,可是找不到,只有管理这间酒店的management company,可是我怕我会搞乱目标,毕竟我的目标是那件酒店,不是他的management company,可是这间酒店的资料好像不多..

有些公司是会将hotel management & ownership放在两间不同的公司。

hotel owner 会appoint mgmt company来管理那酒店。所以mgmt co 的financial performance 也就是那hotel 的 performance 咯 （你会看到account里有rental income, F&B income etc的）。owner可能是每个月charge一个固定的rental或fees罢了。

所以，你的strength 可能是experienced mgmt team (看管理层的介绍），strategic location (交通，周围环境有事么shopping complex, ，strong financial position (看financial report) ,hig hquality of service (看有没有是么best reward的奖项之类的， etc. 然后这些strength 是可以用来seize the opportunities (e.g. expansion / venture into new market etc).

Weaknesses可能是facilities/infrastructure比competitor少（no conference room, no garden, no of room lesser etc)， age of building 高，etc,这些都是会影响到hotel growing 的问题。

Opportunity 可能是government grants, tax incentive to promote hospitality ind, 公司可以争取这些机会将hotel expand。 或则earth quake in japan will bring more tourist to Malaysia (公司的high quality service 或 strategic location可以乘机吸引游客，提高room occupancy rate, 等等

Threats可能是新开张的酒店，禽流感，经济衰退，等等问题。

基本上就是看你怎样写罢了。

那间management company有在管理十多间酒店,要怎样判断他的经济是强是弱呢?那间酒店得过 Outstanding Achievement in Web Development和 OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN INTERNET ADVERTISING,这样算是strength for technology吗?

    其实除了写那间公司的swot,还要解释这些swot怎样影响到公司对吗?比如说他的strength是promotion和branding做得好,所以我需要写这样会怎样帮助到公司.对了,swot matrix是帮助develop strategies的吗?不好意思,问多了....
