Introduction The IEEE Conference on SusTainable Utilization and Development in ENgineering and Technology (STUDENT 2010) is a student conference organized by IEEE-UTAR Student Branch that serves the purpose of providing students of higher learning institutions a channel to present their own projects and be recognized for their professional and technical achievements by the industry and IEEE. This conference will not just be a venue for students to exchange ideas, but to communicate, network and learn from others. The conference will also allow more collaboration among the IEEE Chapters. The conference provides an international forum that brings together those actively involved in areas of interest to report on up-to-the-minute innovations and developments, to summarize the state-of-the-art, and to exchange ideas and advances in all aspects of sustainability and technology. Advances in engineering continually play an increasing role in providing an enriching experience and thereby improving the quality of our lives and the sustainability of our lifestyle. Papers related to this conference theme are especially solicited, including theories, methodologies, and emerging applications such as recognition of activities of daily living. Who are encouraged to participate? If you are an undergraduate or post-graduate student who just completed your research paper (e.g. your final year thesis), then don't miss this opportunity to get your work published in IEEE Xplore. All you have to do is participate in this conference as a delegate and your paper will be published in the conference proceeding. We are seeking for high quality research papers, both local (Malaysia) and abroad. We encourage interested participants who are not from Malaysia to take this chance to visit our beautiful country while attending this conference, and to get a chance to meet up with other peers in the area of your interest. Need more info? Visit our web site at www.student2010.org or email us at support@student2010.org. We pledge to respond to your email within 24-hours.
