Small Cap Banks - The stock market took a nose dive on Tuesday because of a Greek debt downgrade but I continue to watch the following small bank stocks for trading opportunities. Bank of Granite Corporation (GRAN) - EuroBancshares Inc. (EUBK) - Frontier Financial Corporation (FTBK) - Crescent Banking Co. (CSNT) - TIB Financial Corp. (TIBB) - Hampton Roads Bankshares Inc. (HMPR) - TierOne Corp. (TONE) - Midwest Banc Holdings Inc. (MBHI) - Sterling Financial Corp. (STSA) - Pacific Capital Bancorp (PCBC)
Dearborn Bancorp Inc. (DEAR) - Shares of Dearborn Bancorp Inc. pulled back after the huge run over the past few trading sessions. Dearborn Bancorp is now the Top Stock Gainer in 2010. I'd be a buyer for a trade the next time the stocks breaks up through the high of the day. |

Huntington Bancshares Inc. (HBAN) - Shares of Huntington Bancshares Inc. pulled back with the stock market as well. The 10 day moving average is around $6.25 which is a good support level. Going forward, resistance is now located at $7.40 as well as $8.00. |

Dearborn Bancorp Inc. (DEAR) - Shares of Dearborn Bancorp Inc. broke up through the high of the day Wednesday morning and offered a nice gain
. I would be a buyer if DEAR broke above $4.65.
Huntington Bancshares Inc. (HBAN) - Shares of Huntington Bancshares Inc. have formed a short term double bottom located at $6.56. A close below this level would be bearish and I think you could see HBAN trade between $6.00-$6.20 which would be a buy.
Sirius XM Radio (SIRI) - New 52 week high at $1.22 but then a pullback. I expect SIRI to rise to $1.25-$1.30 in the coming months which is around a 10% gain from the $1.14 right now. |
