COMPARISON of NUS, USM, CHULALONGKORN & UM PUBLICATIONS & CITATIONS in SCI, SSCI & AHCI (2005-2009)

  
Note the huge gap of NUS research productivity against the rest in all categories of publications – SCI, SSCI and AHCI. UM has to increase productivity several folds if it intends to get close to NUS. In the last ranking exercise NUS was at the 30th position. However, both Chula and UM seems to be at about the same level in 2009 in terms of publication productivity, an improvement from what was before this. With Chula being ranked by THE-QS at 138th and UM at 180th, it does not appear to be a very far target for UM to climb to the position of Chula. Of course, it is also obvious that USM is now trailing behind the other three.

Publication 多不等于 Quality咯。。。如果Pucblication 多但是只要小部分是IMpact Factor高的也是没有用。。。
