没上机，可以 claim 回 Airport Tax 吗？

在五月时, 我帮我爸妈 book了 0 fare 的机票 ,  9/11/2009 (depart) & 11/11/2009 (return)  从 Penang International Airport 去 JB Senai  International Airport， 两人只 pay total airport tax RM36 (1 person =RM18 for 2 way).
但我爸临时有事 ， 只剩我妈独自上机， 请问我能 claim 回我爸的 Airport Tax (RM18) 吗？
虽然RM18是少， 但我想要了解真正的 procedure。。。。还有， 如何 claim ?

我当时是用 credit card 过帐的

假如没有记错，AIRPORT TAX是可以REFUND的。不过，楼主的个案是发生在5月这么‘久’了，这就很难说。

根据亚航的FEE SCHEDULE里面的TAXES AND CHARGES的说明，所有REFUND都会被征取PROCESSING FEE的。

既然是可以REFUND了，不妨直接CALL 亚航的CUSTOMER SERVICE。无论，Processing Fee是多少，也应该去寻求REFUND。总不会REFUND的总额比PROCESSING FEE少吧。不然，何必REFUND呢？

你应该在72小时前就打电话问了。。。。

不然每个赶不上飞机的人都可以claim的话航空公司不是傻掉。。。。

Is airport tax refundable?
Answer :
In line with industry practice, Airport Tax will only be refunded when contacted by the guest. To request for a refund, the guest should send an email to AirportTaxRefund@airasia.com. You will receive an acknowledgment within 15 working days. All Airport Tax refunds shall be subjected to a Processing Fee specified in our Fee Schedule.
The mode of refund will depend on the guest's original mode of payment when the seat was purchased. The refund can only be given to the person(s) named in the booking and not to a third party, in accordance to the mode of payment for the seat.
Do provide us with the following information when you contact us for your refund.
a) Payment by credit card:
1. The Reservation/ Booking Reference Number
b) Payment by Direct Debit or Cash or Travel Agent:
1. The Reservation/ Booking Reference Number
2. Bank Account Number
3. Bank Name
4. Name of Account Holder (Refund can only be given to the person named as a guest in the booking and not to a third party).

我那天打去CS问了... 是要国际航班的才能 claim 回 RM 100 的 airport tax
手续费是 RM 10
过程大概需要一个月的时间。。。用信用卡过账的会 refund 回去你的信用卡里....
只要信用卡名义的人才能做 refund... 3rd party 不能....
还有必须等到你的回程过后的一天才能要求做 refund... Call 去就可以了！
比如回程是在 25th, 那么你 26th 才能打去要求 refund airport tax
至于direct debit / bank acc 过账的就会bank in 去你的个人户口里

仔細研究了AA的條規(terms&conditions), 在4.3的條規裡會發現機場稅是基於"你的使用相關服務和設施", 所以你可以在沒有發生"你的使用相關服務和設施"的情況下要求退回機場稅. 不過在AA的費用收取裡, 你會發現AA會基於每人每個項目來收取行政手續費用, 像退款要收10塊錢. 所以不是說國內班機不能退機場稅, 而是你付的機場稅是否夠付AA收取的手續費.
