(D) AWARD FOR BACHELOR DEGREE   

1. Criteria for award of Bachelor Degree         

All candidates who have successfully fulfilled the following requirements will be awarded the Bachelor Degree:

(i)

successfully completed and passed, unless exempted, allcore and elective units in the course

(ii)

successfully completed and passed, unless exempted, all LAN(MQA) compulsory units

(iii)

achieved a minimum CGPA of 2.0000

(iv)

accumulated the minimum credits required for therespective course

(v)

fulfilled all other criteria stipulated by the University

2. The Award ofHonours           

The classification of awards is based on CGPA achieved by the candidate as shown below:

         

The Award of Honours	CGPA
First Class Honours	3.5000 – 4.0000
Second Class Honours (Upper Division)	3.0000 – 3.4999
Second Class Honours (Lower Division)	2.2000 – 2.9999
Third Class Honours	2.0000 – 2.1999
