Agree with you, the only proffesional in bomba is the governmental bomba. All sukarela is just at the same status as a support unit only.
But, for overall performence, Bukit Bendera Team is just a better if compared the others two in penang island as i've seen.
Why I say so, this is because of few factors below :
- Fire Fighting Theory - The members there has well trained in fire fighting theory and also be able to provide the basic train to their own members & public or even an private sector.
- Fire Fighting Tactical - Thru the experience, the Bukit Bendera Team being handle thousands of cases of emergency since 2002 and in 2006 they've started their EMS services.
- Team management - The Bukit Bendera Team not much change of their Team Leader & committee for the past AGM & elections. And those was in the board of management, most of them previously from the Civil Defence, St John and MRC, the quality of their leadership we can see from how their members work and the numbers of member.
- Special Task Force - Since 2008, the Bomba Sukarela Bukit Bendera has started train a group of their senior members to perform some special task in asst to the local authority agency in any Emergency Operation, such as Disasters, SAR, EMS, MVA, and etc.
So, now they have their SAR Team, EMS Technicians, High Rise Rescue unit, and heard that they are going to have their Rescue Divers soon.

但是，以上的分享不是贬低其余的队伍，同时，垄尾和KG Pisang的队伍近期也正积极关注于训练和提升他们队员，所以他们有一天也可能会超越升旗山的。
不过，火狗强调，我们做义务的，不可能取代正规的消拯员，只有他们才是真正的专业。这一点很重要，因为我们做过头了，就会歪曲了义务消防队辅助政府消拯员的原意。
一个很简单的问题，apa itu api ? 我相信我们的义务消防兄弟不是每个都会回答，但是政府消防员肯定100%都会。这就是专业和非专业的分别。 |

the team not pro doesn't mean cant take case, but fire fighting is not as easy as wat u can c, when u in the position only u can fell the tough in it noe???????
there for if u not pro enough , u might bring urself into danger
ah some correction, not just urself.........................
but all the comrade beside u noe????????????????
