想问-关于gas pipe welding

怎么对这行很有兴趣吗？
“钱途”的话，去找tower crane operator门路更好！

我不知道这个问题适不适合在这里提出发问。。
不过我找不到更适合的地方了，如果放错地方，请版主帮忙移动。

关于gas pipe welding ， 是不是需要去考license才可以接这类工程来做？
这个license要去那里考？

我想找更多这方面的相关资料，请大家提供。

是老公要我问的，他说考起来没有坏。。
而且外头很多都没有用copper gas pipe因为没有welding的执照，都改用metal pipe...
我知道的只是这些，能帮他的，就是帮他找资料。。。

对了，tower crane operator是做什么的？驾crane建高楼吗？

我把我知道的和你分享, 如果有不对的地方, 请大家纠正.
政府承认的Welding Cert 可以去政府指定的私人公司去考 (考到了以后就可以申请lowery)

在Project开始之前, main-con 会要求 sub-con / sub-contractor 派人接受考试 (WPS - Welding Procedure Specification & PQR - Procedure Qualification Record), 一般上都会派出最好的Welder, 大概5~6个人.

在Project里的welder不是什么pipe都能烧, 每个welder必须通过main-con QC的考试,
考试有分不同的材料 (CS, SS, Alloy, Low Alloy, Duplex 等等) , 还有不同的大小 (半寸~几十寸), 必须通过了考试才能烧指定的pipe, 不然的话, 烧出来的那只pipe, QC有权利reject.

* 另外tower crane operator我不熟悉, 不过Hydraulic Crane, Crawler Crane的operator考到执照后从最小的crane开始驾, 然后公司慢慢训练你, 几年后你可以驾大型的crane的时候,那么你就是每天在公司standby了,毕竟500-ton, 600-ton的crane, 不多人租来用.

这里说得比较详细一点

WELDING

All welding shall conform to the requirements of ASME xxxx (depend on your project requirement)


a) WELDERS AND WELDING OPERATORS PERFORMANCE QUALIFICATION

A performance qualification test of the welders is required before fabrication or installation and shall conform to the requirements of ASME Section xxxxx (depend on your project requirement) and witnesses by Main-Con. The test results shall be subjected of Main-Con review and approval.


b) IDENTIFICATION OF WELDERS

When welding is performed, all welders shall be issued a certificate indicating the welder’s qualification, name, number and company. Each approved welder shall be issued with welder tag and identification card which shall be displayed at all times while on the work site.
After welding, each weld or its adjacent area shall be marked with the identification symbol of the welder to indicate clearly his work.
For austenitic steels, high alloy steels and non ferrous metals, the welders symbol shall be applied with waterproof paint that is not harmful or detrimental to the base metal.
Up-to-date shop and site records shall be maintained to identify the welder of all joints made. These records shall be made available for Main-Con review at all times.


c) WELDING PROCEDURE QUALIFICATION RECORDS (W.P.Q.R)

Only pre-qualified Welding Procedure Qualification Records approved & witnessed by the 3rd party and relevant to the intended job, shall be used.


d) WELDING PROCEDURE SPECIFICATIONS (W.P.S)

A W.P.S is an instruction to the welder and shall include both essential and non essential variables.  The accepted documents shall be available at the work floor for the welders.
