Bill Abbott's Smart Ass is not your standard pick a card trick!
You place a jumbo card face down on a chair without revealing itsidentity. A participant is invited to sit down on the mystery card andis shown a deck of shuffled playing cards. You explain that they willuse their subconscious to deduce the identity of the jumbo card theyare sitting on.
The spectator cuts the deck into two piles and places them in eitherhand. They are asked to toss one half away and keep the other. Afterthey do this, they cut the remaining cards into two piles, holding onein each hand and they once again toss one pile away and keep the other.Down to the last few cards, the participant chooses one card, havingthe opportunity to change their mind several times. They make a finalselection. With their final choice in hand the spectator stands andpicks up the jumbo card, to find it matches their selection EXACTLY!

Uses three cards that have a punched hole. They are fixed together by abolt threaded through the holes. A spectator signs on the middle card.
When the signed card is pushed between the other cards, the cardslides. That means, the hole on the middle card moves over, and now ithas come close to the signature.
At the end, the bolt is removed from the card and audience finds that the hole has been moved.
Everything is examinable after the effect.
