游戏简介
Fallout 3的故事舞台设定在前作的30年后，主角的祖先於核爆前走到VAULT-TEC公司所製造的庇护所VAULT 101中逃难，自此200年间，VAULT 101未曾开啟過。
而於当中的主角也出生在地下城里度过童年。主角在10岁时得到由科學家的父亲送來的一个名为PIP BOY的电脑，以作为生日礼物。
直至到了16岁，他要完成一项能力测验，可是父亲亦在这个时候失蹤，因而主角踏上了寻找父亲之旅。

被喻为具有深度，以核战后的美国作背景的《FALLOUT》，普受玩家们的欢迎。可是因前开发公司Interplay Entertainment的破产，在Fallout 1～Fallout 2推出之后，Fallout 3的开发工作也只好強制中止。幸而游戏版权落入Bethesda手中，让Fallout 3得以延续下去。至於Bethesda因制作《上古捲軸》系列而闻名，因此有一定的信心保证。

第一视点和第三视点
Fallout 3《上古捲軸IV》的引擎來製作，游戏時不论第一视点和第三视点也行，玩者可视乎需要而切换。雖本作讲求動作要素，可自由地向敌方进行射击，但同時也加入了RPG成份，以让玩家在战斗中決定角色是攻击、防卫等的动方针。玩者在行动时不会遇上太多的限制，系列中的成人血腥要素、黑色幽默风格等也会续承下來，除了要消灭因受輻射感染而变种的怪物外，还需完成百多個不同的任务。而按玩者的行动不同，可进入相異的结局，預计基本结局达9～12个之多。


自由行动
自《GTA》系列开始，以大型舞台自由行动为玩法的游戏漸受欢迎，而Fallout 3也不例外。为了寻找父亲而从地底走上地面的主角，来到了一个受尽輻射感染的世界，厂方表示最先会到达一条叫Megaton的村子，大家可选择是否炸毀它，要是选择炸毀，Megaton会消失而出现Tenpenny塔，此后玩家可到塔中冒险。不然的话，可是Megaton的村民們会继续健在，让玩者接到村民们的任务委托。

V.A.T.S.战斗系统
在动作方面主要由RPG進行，不過战斗上则強調动作要素，採用「VAULT-TEC ASSISTED TARGETING SYSTEM」，簡稱為「V.A.T.S.」，它的作用是可让玩者切换到第一視点，然后在实時状态下向敌人進攻。如果玩者对实感到焦躁的話，也可以把游戏暫停，然後选择目標再行攻击。另外，玩家也可以攻击敌人的某些特定部位，例如头部、腳部等其他弱点。


SPECIAL能力分配
向來「S.P.E.C.I.A.L.系统」是《FALLOUT》系列的一大特色，至於這系统会被保留下來，让玩家可以為角色身怀的各种属性（力量、感知、耐久、领导力、智力、敏捷和幸运），已及技能和天賦得到提升。隨著角色於战斗中的LV提升，上述屬性的能力值便會相应增加，更有可能藉此修习新技能，又或为技能作強化。而角色的LV最大為20級。


武器装备
在武器的装备系統上，已过往的分別不大，角色可透過击倒敌人或在特定地方中取得道具，內容林林总总，有奇怪的材料已及特別的裝置。而武器已防具是按损毁度來计算耐久值，要是耐久值過低便无法使用。不過角色也可透過自己的技能來修复装备，然而可能会因此令装备性能有所偏差。另外，玩家也可透過部件组裝属于自己的独特武器，发挥更強的破坏效果。

其实地下库试验不是设计来拯救生活在里面的人。
他们是个庞大的社交试验，是用来考察被选上的小部分人口。
例如第69号地下库，男性对女性的比例是千分之一。
而第43号地下库里，却拥有二十位男性，十位女性，以及一只黑豹。
但我们要讲的是第77号地下库，一个人和一箱玩偶的故事。

的确我恨不得现在就有得玩了！

Fallout 1是我接触电脑的第一个游戏，
当时的英文菜到死。要玩就得本字典陪伴。
Fallout1和2都玩了几次，但对Fallout Tactic就没兴趣了。
过后就听到Interplay (Balck Isle)倒闭了！
现在Fallout 3有希望在Bethesda的手中复活，
又有机会重回wasteland！

我想來討厭RPG, 我是指那種對白多多的那種,比如 never winter night 那種.

但,我一定會買 fallout, 我當年玩得各種情景現在都歷歷在目.

去拿收音機給那條水卻忘了丟在那裏結果找了一整天,打賭輸了給XX強姦SM,拿機關槍打爆人的頭,車子半路沒油要走路還要給強盜殺,城市裏的機關還我死了n次,

還有louis armstrong 的 a kiss to build the dream on....
