我有两个问题想要请教大家:

1. 现在市面上有几种multidimensional database?
(What types of multidimensional databases are available nowadays?)

2.要用什么软件来做data warehousing和data mining? 除了SQL Server 2000 (IBM DB2, DB Miner等）
What types of software can be used for data warehousing and datamining? Other than SQL Server 2000 like IBM DB2, DB Miner etc.)

目前主要的有商业和最近开始受到瞩目的开源软件如Pentaho, Jaspersoft, SpagoBI,OpenI等。

个人推荐Pentaho。Modrian是Pentaho旗下的OLAP Server，若是对开源软件有兴趣的话，不妨看一看。
