等等乐队那位主音(有一点像Kurt Cobain那位), 应该是‘孬 '的吉他手是吗?? 在独立音乐节那天看到你们同台演出.
六月三号和四号肯定到场支持!!!!! 不见不散~~!!! |

很遗憾的,多次的音乐会都无法出席... 没有办法看到孬在音乐上的改变,干看外形上的改变应该更趋向硬核发展吧?我有一个建议,不知年达及团员们有兴趣吗?我和几位朋友想尝试做MV,如果孬有兴趣可以详谈的.本土需要热血人士,继续加油!! |

真是太好了，ＥＦＸ謝謝你慷慨地提供協助，可是你人不是在新加坡嗎？感謝三先生多番鼓勵。
woodenjellyfish，雖然你不喜歡我們或干脆是我本人，不過我還是願意和你分享我們的經驗。我覺得玩音樂就是要不顧一切，拋棄中庸的价值觀，挑戰傳統，要極端，可是這是向內的改變，不是像“政腐“那樣向群眾發施號令。可能你對我們的言論感到厭惡，可是這就是我們樂隊的本質，失去這些我們將不會是我們。
這些就是我們創作的原動力，和主題曲。

“孬在迷笛的时候，给人的感觉是一个包含了朋克和金属能量的后摇滚乐乐队，这次看他们，在社会批判态度下面，是多动症的动感、不安分的结构、暴力的funk和怒吼的旋律——如果诱导社还没有解散，大概是一对兄弟，但孬更真诚有力。”
取自颜峻刊登于通俗歌曲四月刊的文章《吉隆坡田野录音事件》。
给我感觉严苛挑剔的颜峻大哥已不只一次给予“孬”正面的肯定，
保持激情，继续加油！

哈哈... MV是music video啦!(不过,动画片也是其中一种方法!)我现在是在新加坡工作,偶尔有回去KL的..不过现在有了ONLINE,很多资讯的流动都不会是太大的问题..我想小成本有小成本的制作方式,可能没有大型摄影棚`化装`器材等..但是我相信创意不会被外在因素而局限的!我的概念就是要以最低的成本,做最有趣的影象!没有钱拍摄?有脑`有笔`有软件就行了!我和一些朋友就当是兴趣制作,不会收费的... 哈!

love Me butch - Hollywood holiday 的MV真是棒的!
有点incubus-megalomaniac MV,franz fredinand-take me out MV 那种pattern.
当第一次看到时的感想就是很高兴因为本地有酱好的MV出现
身为大马人都有点骄傲.

世界媒体自由日音乐会@CENTRAL MARKET，观后感
» my gig review
the first band grape kicked off the gig at 1230pm. very polished for a young band. radio friendly rock, hints of funk and jazzy progressions. very incubus-y, safe for mainstream consumption.
next up was asna, a 4 piece band (siblings). first thing that caught my eye were the vintage guitars, a gibson les paul, a fender strat and a tele (all from 70s). they dedicate their first song, "smile", to their grandad who had just passed away 3 days ago.
sweet. they played 2 originals and 1 cover (i'm with you - avril lavigne), so i hope we don't get into trouble with MACP. radio friendly rock.
fathullistiwa soundscapes came on next. this was my first time seeing them on stage. wow. fathul gets very worked up on stage eh? they played 3 songs from the romantikarat cd.
peter brown and markiza provided some (unintentional?) laughs during their set but it was good. markiza touched on the black metal and "bangsa asing" and only AFTER that asked me if the gig was being recorded.
"..continue to conducts your experiements on kambing" - peter hassan brown, cij world press freedom day gig.
nao! very weird timings. the timing for their songs sound very dillinger escape plan to me. very very passionate on stage. their frontman tat was quite vocal about their stand on state of press freedom in malaysia. quite brave for mentioning the oil hike
protests in KLCC. the first overtly political band on stage for the day.
skyjuicecoffee came up next. punk-emoishy. very energetic set. lots of support from the crowd. mtv-consuming crowd would love them.
lurks? ipod+drum machine+guitars = layan. i can't think of an equivalent word in english.
next, farasu. attracted a fair sized crowd at the front of the stage. lots of black shirts. no goats in sight. i made them tie up their live stock behind the stage. metal! metal! metal!
mushbuttons. first time i've seen them with a second guitar. did a mixed set of english and malay originals. the smashing pumpkins influence shows.
project ei8ht was a pleasant suprise. a bc rich mockingbird? guitar hero! their material was quite good, blues-rock.. the vocalist sounded a bit vedderesque, but hey, if that's your thing..
last band for the day was carburetor dung. this was the band everyone was waiting for. central market born and bred, they were an apt choice to close day 1. joe even called central market their "spiritual home".
first thing that caught my eye was the anti-ISA sticker on joe's guitar, then i saw the guitar that the sticker was attached to.
i.want.a.les.paul.
from the first song "potong nama", it was kick ass set from carburetor dung. at one point, i thought alak was going to moon the audience while singing "mari nyanyi
menjilat". good thing he didn't, because later sonia told me that DBKL were on the scene. they seemed disappointed that we had permits for the gig.
and yeah, it didn't rain.
anyway, good luck to the bands performing tomorrow. and thanks to all the bands who performed today.

superbar. very polished but came across as a little
aloof. radio friendly rock.
flow was next and really attracted the crowd with
their blend of reggae-rock. very tight. very
311/sublime. even had a violionist on stage for the
last song which was an instrumental.
revenge came on next and it was like i was back in the
80's. hehe. very confident vocalist. very very
confident. they played a very chaotic set and survived
mostly on their rock kapak vibe which was much
appreciated by the crowd and the SB in attendance.
revenge and flow both extended their sets to take up
the slack when applecreed pulled out and also to buy
time for y2k to get to the venue. thanks to saiful
(y2k) for getting there early and to revenge and flow
for extending their sets.
"The gig is called “Free Voices” because we’re playing
for free today" - khai, y2k
y2k played a good set with mostly lame jokes (which
were good at taking up the time). the masked trio went
over well with the crowd.
by this time i was getting really tired.
broken scar went on next. good set. endless
merchandising from kevin, but it's all good. all
tactics for buying time.
all this time buying yet i couldn't take up the slack
so i had to close the stage at 3pm when stonebay
couldn't make it.
ben's bitches had a quick soundcheck before kicking
off their set at 345pm. ben gave me a hard time about
the sound but the worse was to come (heh). a good set
from ben's bitches. the crowd was singing along with
ben on some songs (very easy when your chorus is "aku
suka jolok! jolok! jolok! jolok!"). the phone call on
his cell was unforgettable. provided some unexpected
comic relief, but then again, ben is kind of
unforgettable. the commie cap was a nice touch ben.
360°head rotation came up next. a lot of my friends
really enjoyed their set. "lirik pandai" was one of
their comments, "guitarist terror gila babi" was
another. and thanks to rafil for providing me with my
first physical contact with a gibson les paul. the
marshall amp acted up during their set and marred an
otherwise great set.
midway thru, rafil presented the "kambing hitam" award
(a "mangkuk") to several harian metro reporters and
the "kambing hairan" award to akmal abdullah, for
exemplary work in the field of journalism. no one was
on hand to accept the awards, so sonia graciously
accepted on behalf.
2 foot candle, one of my favorite local bands, play
swedish death metal. they played short set of 4 (long)
songs, 3 from the self-titled EP and one new song.
they played sans their keyboardist. it was a good set
though aki's sound was a little muddy (my fault) and
he messed up the solo for "unseen enemy within sight".
negation. grindcore? yes.. but not quite. dirtier than
grind. the crowd really filled up the stage front and
people started body surfing. madec handled himself
very well on stage. i couldn't really watch them
because i was watching the crowd. got a bit hairy for
a while but nothing bad happened.
the weather cooperated and it didn't rain.
thanks to all the bands who performed for free and
were on time and didnt make my job harder than it had
to be. i can't say it was all fun, but it was all
good.
maybe next year again? |
