11月30日，联合动力上市时，KLCI的计算法如何被调整呢？

请问有这方面资料的大大们告诉大家，
到时候KLCI的计算法将会如何被调整呢？

我只是从报纸上看到有关人士说，
将会以那几间在10月17日停牌时的最后交易价做为参考价，
真正如何计算就不知道了！

这是非常重要的，因为它会左右当天的KLCI。

报章说SD在十一月三十日上市时能提高KLCI 2％左右就是说大概30点。
害我现在暂时不敢玩FKLI。

KLCI大慨不会那么快调整算法，请参阅以下的Bursa条例：


KLCI Index Rules

• Companies whose market capitalisation fall within the first two quartiles of the Main Board(MB) companies' market capitalisation will be considered for inclusion;
• Companies whose annual volume fall within the first three quartiles of the MB companies' volumewill be considered for inclusion;
• Index constituents suspended for more than 3 calendar months will be excluded and are onlyeligible for inclusion after 6 calendar months from the date of suspension uplifted;
• Affected companies pursuant to PN4, PN10, PN16 or PN17 are not eligible for inclusion. Indexconstituents so designated will be excluded;
• Companies which are more than 50% owned by any KLCI constituent and which in fact are definedas subsidiaries under the Malaysian Companies Act are excluded.
• Newly-listed companies will be considered for inclusion after a minimum period of 3 months fromthe date of listing. Newly listed companies in new industries may be considered for inclusion aftera minimum period of 1 month from the date of listing
• Where a new issue is more than 1.0% of the full capitalisation of MB, Bursa Malaysia may decideto include the new issue as a constituent of KLCI after 1 month of listing, subject to the volumetraded for the month is within the first three quartiles.

那么到11月30日时，
从10月18日就停牌的SIME，GHOPE和GUTHRIE的成份如何计算呢？

根据今天星洲日报的数据，SIME，GHOPE和GUTHRIE的比重还是分别为3.91％，1.90％和1.01％，加起来是6.82％。

到11月30日时，如果联合动力还不能计算在KLCI里面的话，
难道SIME，GHOPE和GUTHRIE的比重还是被计算在KLCI里面？

我昨天看到FKLI高过KLCI很多，所以short了4张，
到了闭市时，已经亏了四千多块钱了。

今晨，美国闭市时跌了两百多点，我希望今天能反败为胜！

1. As per Bursa Press Announcement on 9 Nov 2007, Guthrie and GHope
will be delisted and removed from the KLCI on 30 Nov 2007.
The replacement component stocks in the KLCI are YNH Property and
Landmarks.
The two replacement stocks will be included in KLCI on the same day.

2. As for the computation of KLCI, I will need to refer to my colleague
on the matter.
I'll email once I receive the information from them.

I am actively trading FKLI and therefore the KLCI as the reference is
very important to me.
As we know, on 30.11.2007, The new company Synergy Drive will be
replacing SIME and included in the KLCI computation.

But, my questions are:

1)    What about or what happen to GHOPE and GUTHRIE as components of
the KLCI?
2)    Where can I get more information on how exactly the KLCI is being
computed everyday in general, and specifically on 30.11.2007?

我本身的解读是11月30日时，
KLCI不会不明不白的大起。

基于FKLI现在高过KLCI很多，
大家可以放心的short吧！

Dear XXXX,

According to my colleague, all three changes in the KLCI components
will be effected on the 30 Nov 07, hence the no of KLCI components fixed
at 100. The KLCI Index base market capitalisation will be adjusted
accordingly, based on the net impact on market capitalisation of the
incoming and the outgoing components, so that the index is not impacted
due to component changes.

我的解读是假如Synergy的价钱高于8.90（reference price),它对KLCI的冲激是positive,反之，则是negative.

看来Synergy的价钱应该会高于8.90。

我选择直身局外。

why good for short, since the Synergy will affect the upward of KLCI also FKLI?

SD price set at RM8.90 .. some analyst expect it will hit up to RM12.00 on the listing day or later .. so if this happen on Friday, sure KLCI or FKLI will increase atleast 18 to 30 points ..

Summary - FKLI will base on SD performance on Friday

我现在怀疑有关当局会不会在制定联合动力的参考价时（reference price）有以下的造假呢？

也就是说为了提高KLCI指数让大家开开心心，而故意把联合动力的参考价定在很低的价位，这么一来联合动力的incoming capitalisation就偏低，造成它有很大的上涨的空间。

那么，11月30日当天，基于参考价偏低，一开市联合动力和KLCI就双双就会腾空跳起，全国欢庆，皆大欢喜，哈哈。。。除了那些short期货的人！

2nd point - Palm Oil hit sky high since it suspended .. so SD prospect earning will hit the sky too ... RM8.90 is too cheap for BIG investor .

10月17日闭市时，BKAWAN／KLK的价钱分别为RM8.85和RM14.30，
11月27日闭市时，BKAWAN／KLK的价钱分别为RM9.85和RM16.10，
这其间，BKAWAN／KLK的价钱分别上了11.3％和12.6％，平均是12.0％，

那么，如果到时候联合动力也补涨12％，
而联合动力的比重是8％的话，
KLCI将会腾空跳起0.12*0.08＝0.96％，
也就是0.0096*1364＝13点，
再加上当时如果为了制造繁荣景气而给于偏低的参考价，
到时候，KLCI至少会上涨20多点啊！

联合动力在RM8.90的价位时，它的prospective PE是多少呢？
现在FKLI只是高过KLCI5点，大家不要错过long的大好机会呀！
