化学品制造厂商Smart Asia Chemical Bhd计划在大马交昜所创业板上市，今日与Mercury证券私人有限公司签署包销协议。

该公司通过IPO发售新股，预计公开发售9350万股新股，Mercury证券将包销3059万股，包括让公众通过抽签方式认购的1848万股，以及供合格董事丶雇员及有功人士认购的1210万股。

其余4623万股将让获得投资丶贸易及工业部批准的土着投资者认购，以及1668万股将私下配售予特定投资者。

Smart Asia主要是开发丶制造丶分销和销售家居与工业用途的各种装饰涂料丶防护涂料和涂料相关产品。

Smart Asia通过IPO所筹集的部分资金，将用于兴建霹雳厂房以及购买和调试自动化油漆生产系统。

剩余募集资金将用于购买250台智能彩色POS调色机丶充当营运资本及支付上市费用。

Smart Asia董事经理Goh Chye Hin表示，集团致力于提高产品和服务的营运和自动化能力，迈向工业4.0制造工厂。
